Michael Bisping Believes Colby Covington Really Doesn’t Like Old Friend and Roommate Jorge Masvidal

Michael Bisping seems to believe that Colby Covington really don’t like my old friend Jorge Masvidal.

For years, Covington and Masvidal lived as roommates and worked out together at America’s world-famous Top Team gym. However, their friendship broke down a few years ago.

‘Gamebred’ alleges that Covington betrayed one of their coaches and has yet to pay the amount he owes the coach. ‘Chaos’ soon parted ways with ATT and now practices at the MMA Masters gym.

Covington accused Masvidal of being jealous of him being a star in the UFC. ‘Chaos’ has had many personal words at Masvidal, including comments regarding the Cuban-American boxer’s ex-wife and accusations of being a bad father.

In a video posted to his YouTube channel, the legendary MMA Michael Bisping refers to Covington’s overly public personality and his purposefully respected privacy.

Bisping stated:

“By the way, everyone you talk to is like, ‘No, listen, Colby is a really nice guy. He only sells combat. He’s putting on a personality. ‘ And maybe that’s true. If he’s doing it, if he’s acting, then give that man an Oscar because he’s acting all the time. “

Bisping went on to say that he believes Covington played no role.

“But these things – chasing Masvidal’s ex-wife, calling him a terrible father and stuff like that…” Bisping added, “I don’t think that’s part of it. I mean, listen up. , anytime two people know each other, when they’ve lived together like before, they know a lot of personal things about each other, and then that’s when rivalry or enmity, for want of a good word more, can become dense.”

Bisping also pointed out that considering the factors in the match between Covington and Masvidal, MMA fans have a lot of fun leading up to their fight.

Dustin Poirier in a potential fight against former teammate Colby Covington

In addition to Jorge Masvidal, another former ATT teammate with whom Colby Covington has taken many personal photos against is Dustin Poirier. ‘The Diamond’ recently hinted at a move up into heavyweight.

Poirier has also hinted that he could face Covington in the welterweight division in the near future. The former UFC interim lightweight champion has repeatedly insisted that “it’s in sight” if he makes it through the stages with Covington.

Now, former UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington will face BMF champ Jorge Masvidal at UFC 272 on March 5.

The bout will be a 5-round non-title bout that is expected to rock UFC 272.
