MIA Tindall shared a sweet moment with her parents Zara and Mike Tindall after leaving the Queen’s engagement service in Windsor.
The eight-year-old left St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle alongside her mother and father after saying her final farewell to Queen Elizabeth II.
But in an adorable moment missed by the millions of people who tuned in to pay their respects around the world, the young royal stopped briefly to play hopscotch on the sidewalk.
Dressed in a long-sleeved black dress with a matching headband, Mia took part in the children’s play before following her parents once more.
Mia is the eldest daughter of the Queen’s granddaughter Zara, 41, and former rugby player Mike, 43. They also share daughter Lena, four, and son Lucas, one.
Earlier that day, while Mia was at the communion service, she did not attend the Queen’s State Funeral at Westminster Abbey.
Instead, Princess Anne’s daughter Zara and Mike supported each other as they attended the service alongside other family members, including Mia’s cousins, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Later that day, Mike was praised by Royal fans for comforting the Queen’s youngest grandson, James, just before the emotional funeral service took place.
As the family turned out to say goodbye to Her Majesty, Mike lovingly put his arm around James, 14, son of Sophie Wessex.
After noticing the touching moment, people flocked to social media, where they dubbed Mike “a great addition to the family.”
He was also hailed as a “class act,” as something else said: “It’s very revealing about the person when there are moments like this that are so small compared to the events happening around them.
“He really has a good heart and takes care of his extended family.
“He’s a good man and his wife chose one of the best.”
Queen Elizabeth II was buried alongside her late husband Prince Philip in a private ceremony at Windsor Castle. The couple will be buried next to their late father, mother and sister.
