Menacing German Leopard II tanks ‘en route to Ukraine’ as vital western armor to drive out Russians

DEADLY Leopard II tanks were spotted stalking as they were shipped east towards Ukraine after Germany made good on its promise to help fight Russia.
Footage released on Saturday shows the menacing war machines lined up on freight trains as a massive logistical operation is launched to help Ukraine oust Putin’s troops.

The tanks – moved by “Marder” infantry fighting vehicles – are due to arrive in a matter of weeks, just as Mad Vlad steps up his fight ahead of the bloody anniversary of the invasion.
The footage is believed to have been shot in eastern Germany or Poland over the past few days.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz finally agreed last week to send the tanks to Ukraine, further provoking an already enraged Putin.
Satellite photos allegedly show new Russian fortifications on the fronts from Luhansk down to Donetsk and throughout Zaporizhia and Kherson.
Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, told Radio Svoboda that Russia is preparing for “maximum activation”.
He said of the invaders: “They believe they should have some achievements by the anniversary.
“It’s no secret that they are preparing for a new wave until February 24, as they say themselves.”
Great Britain, the USA, Germany and Poland have pledged a total of 73 tanks to fight against the Russian war machine in the last few days.
Ukrainian war leader President Zelenskyy has asked Western allies for at least 300 tanks to break the bloody standoff.
Germany and Poland have pledged 28 state-of-the-art Leopard II main battle tanks, each worth £5 million.
The UK has pledged 14 Challenger 2 main battle tanks, which are slower than the Leopards but boast incredible defensive capabilities.
And the US has promised Ukraine 31 of its Abrams M1A2s, but it could be months before shipments of American jet-powered tanks arrive at the front lines.
According to Breaking Defense, training to deploy the Leopard II tanks could see them deployed on battlefields in as little as 6 weeks.
Britain hopes its Challenger 2 tanks will arrive at the front by the end of March.
But defense sources have warned that if the tanks were captured by Putin’s invaders, it would be a nightmare.
His military scientists could then study their state-of-the-art armor and know how to defeat them.
A source explained: “British armor is the best in the world.
“In the history of Challenger 2 only one was destroyed in combat and that was by friendly fire in Iraq.”
On paper, Britain has 227 Challenger 2 tanks, but only about 60 are combat-ready.
About 30 are located in Estonia, 14 towards Ukraine.
Poland also said there will be 60 additional tanks to the 14 it has already deployed to the war effort.
Spain and Norway are expected to announce in the coming days how many Leopard IIs they will send to Ukraine.
