And this summer our top clubs have been busy strengthening their squads with new signings they hope will quickly settle into their new surroundings and become a success.

But not only the footballers have to get used to a new country, their wags will also accompany them on an adventure.

From a former NFL cheerleader to an Argentinian showgirl, this year’s new additions will add to the glamor of the world’s biggest league.

US goalie Turner made a great catch in Ashley – who was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots.

The pom pom queen, 25, even got a chance to perform at Super Bowl LII when Tom Brady’s team was defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In 2018, Herron earned a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard University – and focused her studies on “Organizational Behavior in Relation to Disruptive Marketing”.

Last month they became the proud parents of a son named Easton and they also recently got married.

Liverpool’s £85m Uruguayan has dated Spanish beauty Lorena and they have a son together, Darwin Jr.

The blonde beauty, who is friends with Lionel Messi’s wife Antonella, was previously in a romance with Barcelona ace Aleix Vidal and they share a daughter.

Back in March, beloved Nunez brought his love, who was believed to be older than him, to his homeland and posted pictures on social media.

He captioned some of the photos: ‘First time in Uruguay my dear and I hope there will be many more.

“Thank you for so much. I love you.”

The gorgeous Muri loves to dress up.

Man Utd newcomer Lisandro Martinez’s Argentinian wife has appeared at various South American carnivals – in the most extraordinary of outfits.

The two are longtime partners who reportedly met when they were 14 years old.

The 24-year-old has seen his rise – from Newell’s Old Boys to Ajax and now Old Trafford.

The Gunners have been busy adding a number of talented stars to their squad, including Portugal international Vieira.

His girlfriend is 21-year-old business student Carina Raquel, who earned her airline miles this summer.

The couple enjoyed a break in Santorini, Greece. And in the last year she has toured the Maldives, Barcelona and Paris, Milan, Lake Como and Mykonos.

Surely that got her a free flight to London?

The brunette beauty was omnipresent in the stands, wearing a Croatian jersey and cheering on her man.

They have three children together who will no doubt be tuned into dad’s Spurs games.

West Ham splashed £10million on Swansea’s Downes, who is joined in east London by blonde beauty Summer.

She joined the 23-year-old midfielder on the pitch at The Swansea.com Stadium to celebrate the end of the Championship season.

This summer, West Ham finally landed a deal for Alphonse Areola, who was on loan from PSG last season.

That means his incredible wife, Filipino-Lebanese beauty Marrion, 34, is here to stay on our shores.

Ortega may not see many minutes as Ederson’s backup at Man City this season.

So Ms Sabina may have to be patient before she can visit the Etihad to see him play.

The couple got married in a beautiful ceremony in Mallorca this summer.

When her husband signed for City, she shared a picture of his reveal with the caption, “So proud of you.”
