Meet the eighth-grade quarterback who already has four college offers at just 14

Barely a teenager, 14-year-old Trent Seaborn already carries the weight of the world on his shoulders.
Before even beginning his freshman year at Thompson High School, Seaborn already has four college offers, a state championship and an MVP award to his name.

Brought into the limelight after an injury to starting junior quarterback Zach Sims, the 5ft 10, 159lb signal caller took over the reigns of the reigning state champion late in the season.
Luckily for Thompson and Seaborn, he took his chance.
He led them to a 49-24 win over Auburn High to win a fourth consecutive AHSAA Class 7A title.
Seaborn threw five touchdowns for 207 yards and an AHSAA Class 7A record.

Seaborn was named MVP for his remarkable performance on what is arguably the biggest stage of his career. Seemingly staying grounded, Seaborn presented his trophy to receiver Korbyn Williams, who had four touchdowns that day.
Seaborn told 247 Sports: “I can’t even imagine how crazy the whole game was.
“Honestly, it’s been all season. Our team has been through so much adversity. I’ve never experienced that before. Giving everyone glory is god.
“Plus, Zach Sims was my older brother all season. We just support each other so much. Our bond will never be broken. I can’t explain how lucky I am to have him in my life. “
And unsurprisingly, Seaborn’s head coach Mark Freeman had nothing but the highest praise for his impressive star.
Per AL.com, Freeman said, “He’s really smart, so if you go through things with him, he just gets it.
“It’s just a godsend. He has a gift from God. His memory is great, his talent is great. … This kid is a solid, solid kid with a mind of about an 18-year-old.”
Though he has the brains of an 18-year-old, he will have to wait another four years before officially accepting any of the college offers he’s already had.
So far, Maryland, Troy and Northern Colorado have made offers for the talented youngster via AL.com, while Seaborn tweeted that Marshall has also made an offer – and it is certainly only a matter of time before this list grows significantly.
