Meet the 49-year-old in ‘outstanding form’ who is aiming to become the oldest NFL player of all time

TERRELL OWENS has kept himself busy since he played in his last NFL game over ten years ago.

But football was apparently on the 49ers legend’s mind as the receiver was reportedly planning a shock NFL return.

Owens, 49, would become the oldest NFL player of all time if he made the stunning comeback.

His closest active rival on the age charts would be Tom Brady, who at age 45 is in his 23rd season in the league.

The oldest player to ever play in the NFL was George Blanda at age 48, way back in 1975.

Owens’ agent was reportedly in talks with the Dallas Cowboys because his client was returning to the league more than a decade after hanging up his cleats.

But the two parties couldn’t agree on financial terms, even though the Hall of Famer was physically in “excellent shape.”

His agent Gregory Daniel told SI: “Terrell is ready to contribute and play any role, big or small.

“He’s in great shape. He doesn’t look any different than years ago.

“I watched him run routes at full speed with DeSean [Jackson] and he looked great. He didn’t drop a pass.”

As extraordinary as his potential comeback might sound, bringing Owens back would be just one of the many absurd things TO has done in the past decade.

He is best remembered on the field for ranking third in NFL history for career yards and touchdowns.

In his absence he has certainly been busy since his last football season in 2012.

Owens is not only a well-known name because of his sporting achievements, but also because of his outstanding personality.

In the twilight years of his career, he hosted his own reality TV show called The TO Show.

While Terrell is also a father to four children — two sons and two daughters — each from four different mothers.

In 2012 he took the mothers of three of his children to Dr. Phil to talk about relationships.

While he was just making headlines two years later after divorcing his new wife Rachel DAYS after her marriage.

The couple first began dating in 2009 and have been together for almost five years.

They wed on January 23, 2014 in a secret courthouse wedding in Newhall, California.

But after the shock breakup, Rachel explained, “I fell in love and now I feel betrayed and heartbroken.”

In recent years, Owens found fame on Dancing With The Stars, where he became the eighth celebrity to be eliminated.

He has also found time to play in the Fan Controlled Football League and was traded to the Knights of Degen in May.

Owen’s agent is confident the NFL is missing out if a team doesn’t take a shot at the six-time Pro Bowler back.

Daniel continued, “He’s a legend. We want to make history and see him break those records.

“If anyone can do it, it’s him.

“His three Ds are desire, dedication and discipline.”
