Mauricio Pochettino is set up by Real Madrid with the ex-Spurs boss admired by Florentino Perez for his ‘anti-Barcelonism’

MAURICIO POCHETTINO is reportedly set to become Real Madrid’s next manager.
That’s as Bernabeu boss Florentino Perez reportedly admires the ex-Spurs manager’s ‘anti-Barcelonism’.

Poch, 50, has been unemployed since he was sacked by Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Tottenham are believed to be keeping an eye on the Argentine, who became a fan favorite during his five-and-a-half years in London.
And SunSport understand Poch would also be willing to take charge of Chelsea should Graham Potter be sacked.
However, Sport claim the tactician could replace Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid.
The Los Blancos manager is under pressure after falling behind Barcelona in the title race.
And Poch could be the man Real should turn to should Real lose their crown.
It is also believed that Bernabeu president Perez is a big fan of Poch due to his anti-Barcelona stance
Pochettino made two appearances for Catalan rivals Espanyol before starting his LaLiga coaching career.

And Poch has made no secret of the fact that he will ‘never’ take command of the Nou Camp.
He said last year: “I will never manage Barcelona. That’s impossible.
“I have this idea of life, a connection to a part of this city that makes it impossible.”
