The Belgian striker created controversy in an interview with Sky Italia. He admitted on the air that Chelsea was not his first choice club and that he wanted to stay at Inter Milan.
Lukaku added that he was not satisfied with the tactics of Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel.
Romelu Lukaku has been left out of the squad for the next game against Liverpool, with the player issuing an official apology earlier this week. He went on air to express his regret and apologize to all parties involved.

I said Daily mail:
“The saga with Romelu Lukaku has come to an end and so important credit should go to Thomas Tuchel. The Chelsea head coach has put a considerable amount of weight on my prediction for how he will handle the episode, as It’s a smart class from start to finish.
“I wonder how things will turn out last Friday when Lukaku’s interview with Sky Italia aired. In my mind, I have doubts surrounding Tuchel that have been around since his time. in Paris Saint-Germain, with reports that he couldn’t handle a suit full of big stars.”
“But Tuchel never got out of position from start to finish. He had to drop Lukaku against Liverpool; when speaking to the media, he gave full information that never considered. often their players and also protect the club’s assets. Chelsea can go on and that’s all down to their manager.”
