Massive WhatsApp update could completely change the way you use the app

WHATSAPP is working on a brand new update to change the way voice calls work.

The popular app is constantly being tweaked – and WhatsApp calls are next on the agenda.

WhatsApp created a whole new interface for voice calls.

And it’s available right now for beta testers on both Iphone and Android.

WhatsApp betas are where new features are tested before being rolled out to the live version of the app.

This latest change was discovered by detectives at WABetaInfopeople often exploit WhatsApp for new features.

The app is changing the way group calls work.

Each person will be separated into their own rectangle.

And those who are speaking will have specialized waveforms that describe their voices.

That means you can very easily know who is talking at a given time.

So if someone is making too much noise, you can make sure they’re muted.

There is also a similar design when you make a regular voice call.

WhatsApp is also working on a new feature that changes the way group chats work.

Company testing something called Community – they are like large groups containing your smaller groups.

Groups are one of the most popular ways to chat inside Facebook-owned apps.

WhatsApp started working on Community to collect Groups last year.

It is possible that you have a Work Community that will have many smaller Teams within it.

Or maybe your local area will have a Community, divided into separate Groups to go to school and complain about neighborhood problems.

WhatsApp hasn’t confirmed when – or even if – the feature will roll out to the public.

How to download beta version of WhatsApp

To download WhatsApp beta for your smartphone, you need to go to Google Play on your Android and search for WhatsApp.

Scroll down the page until you see “Become a Beta Tester”.

Click the “I Join” button and then click “Join” to confirm.

Now all you have to do is wait for the app’s beta update.

Joining WhatsApp beta on iPhone is more difficult and storage is limited.
