WELLS, Maine (AP) — A Massachusetts driver who was apparently making an attempt to reverse instructions utilizing a crossover lane for emergency autos was struck by a tractor-trailer on the Maine Turnpike, state police mentioned.
Brian N. Anger, 52, of Auburn, Massachusetts, was pronounced lifeless on the scene late Thursday in Wells, troopers mentioned.
The northbound tractor-trailer driver moved to the middle lane after seeing a BMW operated by Anger within the breakdown lane. Then the BMW reduce in entrance of the truck as if the driving force meant to reverse instructions utilizing a crossover lane, troopers mentioned.
The tractor-trailer driver suffered minor accidents. The crash stays beneath investigation.
