Martin Scorsese to direct Grateful Dead starring Jonah Hill as Jerry Garcia

Fans of Martin Scorsese and a certain classic rock band have a lot to be grateful for today.

Scorsese is set to direct a Grateful Dead biopic for Apple, starring Jonah Hill as head Jerry Garcia, Deadline report.

This movie will be another collaboration between the legendary director and Apple, which is also producing the upcoming crime film starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The killer of the moon. The screenplay for the movie Grateful Dead was supposed to be written by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, known for their work on films like Ed Wood and FX series American Crime Story. Hill is also set to act as a producer. He previously worked with Scorsese when he co-starred with DiCaprio in 2013 The Wolf of Wall Street, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
