Marisol Nichols Returns as Hermione Lodge

Riverdale season 6 took fans on a wild ride with its “Rivervale” miniseries. The events of that particular part of the story are wrapped in a way that can lead to some explosive plotlines. However, we are still waiting to see them appear on screen.

The mid-season premiere for the series has been pushed from Sunday, March 6 to Sunday, March 20, an extra two weeks after a long hiatus. But, thankfully, a new trailer was released recently that hints at a few more things about what to expect in the rest of season 6.

One surprising inclusion is Hermione Lodge. We last saw Marisol Nichols step into the character’s Monolos in season 5 when we were given an update on her life. Now a reality TV star, Hermione spends her days creating TV series that are made for the public. She’s also divorced from Hiram and lives the life she sees fit.

Our visit with her in the fifth season, after the time leap, puts a nice stage at the end of her story in Riverdale. However, it doesn’t look like we’ll see her again as Veronica has no interest in being a part of her reality series and she’s not in contact with any of the other characters on the show.

However, it looks like she’s coming to town with a camera. Here’s what we know!

When is Hermione Lodge back in Riverdale season 6?

Back in November 2021, Nichols posted on her Instagram script for “Chapter One Hundred Two: Death at the Funeral”, which is the seventh episode of season 6. She captioned the post with “Thought you guys might want to know what I’m up to this week…”

Because Hermione wasn’t introduced in First trailer released for Riverdalecome back focusing on the events immediately following “Rivervale,” episode 7 is likely when she will return based on Nichols post. That means we could see Hermione arrive on Sunday, March 27.
