Man, woman dead in horror two-car crash as Nissan collides with Jeep

A man and woman have been killed in a horror two-car incident involving a Nissan and a Jeep.

Police officers rushed to the scene near Brandon, Suffolk around 5.40pm last night.

They were escorted by ambulance crews, but the driver of the Nissan and his passenger died at the scene.

Her next of kin have been informed.

The woman who drove the Jeep Cherokee was taken to West Suffolk Hospital with a suspected broken wrist.

The B1106 road was closed in both directions for around 20 hours but has since reopened.

Suffolk Police are asking anyone with information about the tragedy to come forward.
