Man Utd takeover news LIVE: United ‘a bit’ away from Mason Mount, Real set to flounder on Kane transfer, Abraham updates

Scholes warning

Paul Scholes has given potential new Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino a warning over the Blues squad.

The Manchester United legend has claimed the Stamford Bridge side need SIX new players to improve.

Scholes told Premier League Production: “I think he [Pochettino] will need to buy a couple of centre-backs, possibly a right-back, possibly a left-back, a whole new back four.

“I’m not sure about either of the two goalkeepers.

“But I think in the future I’ll always look to a team and I’m happy when they create chances.”

“I think if you add a centre-forward to that they will always create chances and when you have a team that can score goals you always have a chance.”
