BARCELONA is said to be interested in signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
The 29-year-old midfielder will leave Old Trafford for free at the end of this season when his contract expires.
He was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona last October, but they were unable to accommodate his high wage demands at the time.
However, last week the club landed a huge sponsorship deal with Spotify worth around £237 million.
The deal means their popular home will be renamed Spotify Camp Nou.
It also revived the fortunes of the Spanish giant – who nearly went bankrupt last year due to overspending.
Barcelona can now compete for some of the biggest names in the upcoming transfer market, including Pogba.
According to the Daily Star, they have reassessed their interest in the midfielder.
It is reported that he is keen to end his career in Spain.
The Frenchman could flourish under former conductor Xavi if he decides to move.

After a poor start to the season, Barcelona have finally found their footing after making a number of key signings in January.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored an impressive five goals in six La Liga appearances since arriving at Arsenal on his final day.
Dani Alves, Ferran Torres and Adama Traore have also made a positive impact.
However, the club are facing competition from other clubs including PSG and Real Madrid for Pogba’s signature.
A return to Juventus could also be on the cards.
