Man Utd snap up Cardiff prodigy Gabriele Biancheri, 16, as Wales U17 star completes medical ahead of transfer

MANCHESTER UNITED have secured the signing of child prodigy Gabriele Biancheri.

The 16-year-old joined the club from Championship outfit Cardiff.

The striker completed a medical check over the weekend.

He has played for Wales at international Under-17 level.

He will first sign a scholarship contract and then a long-term professional contract when he turns 17 in September.

Although the deal doesn’t need to be finalized before tomorrow’s deadline, Biancheri has been on the radar for a number of clubs, hence United’s eagerness to finalize the deal.
