In the end, United kept the Portuguese star, with Sesko committed to signing for RB Leipzig.
The Bundesliga club have agreed to pay £21.6million for the Slovenian teenager at the end of the season.
However, that hasn’t stopped United from making a move.
According to 90min, the Red Devils are still interested in the 19-year-old ace – although RB Leipzig would demand a hefty profit to sell him.
Not only Erik ten Hag’s team is interested, but also Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils could have a vacancy up front, with Ronaldo reportedly targeting a January exit after starting just one Prem game so far this season.
Chelsea, meanwhile, could be looking for a long-term solution at the forward position after signing 33-year-old Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a bridging option.
While Bayern would still be keen to sign a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski, although Harry Kane is their dream target.
