Man Utd news LIVE: David De Gea OUTSIDE Tottenham clash with Covid, Ronaldo will play tonight

Good morning Man Utd fans

Manchester United will likely miss out on Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Haaland this summer.

That’s because Premier League rivals Manchester City have a reported deal with Haaland.

That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Man City and Dortmund have reached an agreement with each other.

Sources in Germany also suggest that the star forward will choose Citizens over United at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Reds superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been in tough talks with his agent Jorge Mendes over his future, SunSport’s Neil Custis reports.

Mendes has tried to reassure Ronaldo after he was left out of the Manchester giants’ starting line-up to face Man City in the weekend’s derby.

But the agent is understood to be battling a losing streak with the intention of leaving the club this summer, less than a year after an emotional return to Old Trafford.

The Portugal international remains furious after being told by Rangnick that he would be brought on as a super-sub at the Etihad.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner later complained of hip problems and was dropped from the team altogether.

The 37-year-old flew to Portugal instead to join teammates at the Lowry hotel on Saturday night as they gear up for Sunday afternoon’s game against The Citizens.

And United are said to have identified Lyon star Moussa Dembele as a possible replacement for Ronaldo.

The Real Madrid legend is said to be unhappy with the state he has found in the Red Devils this season and is linked with a summer move.

According to the Daily Mail, Dembele has emerged as an option for United, who are looking to strengthen their attack.

The Manchester giants sent scouts to watch the centre-back in action during their Europa League round of 16 first-leg away win over Porto on Wednesday.

The Frenchman is out of contract in 2023 and could cost as little as £25m.

Finally, United appear to have identified Paul Pogba’s ‘heir’ as Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

That is according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Red Devils are back in search of Milinkovic-Savic, with €80m (£66.5m) being offered as his asking price.

United see the midfielder as the perfect replacement for Pogba, who will become a free agent in June.

According to Calciomercato, however, Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping an eye on the Serbia international ahead of the summer transfer window. Man Utd news LIVE: David De Gea OUTSIDE Tottenham clash with Covid, Ronaldo will play tonight
