MANCHESTER UNITED is plotting a summer transfer for Harry Kane, according to reports.
Kane, 28, is ready to leave Tottenham after failing to secure a move to Manchester City last year.
But with The Citizens now intent on signing Erling Haaland, United have a chance to own Kane.
And the Red Devils are considering a new approach for the England captain, the Daily Mirror reports.
They might even convince him to move to Old Trafford by appointing Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentinian has had a strong relationship with Kane since his time with Spurs, with Pochettino still in contact with the striker.
Kane remains patient for his blockbuster move but Daniel Levy could allow him to leave in the summer.
It could be the last chance Spurs have to cash in some big bucks for Kane as he will then have just two years left on his contract.
He will also turn 29 in the summer so will slowly depreciate.
But Kane is hungry to win trophies and play in the Champions League – neither of which are guarantees at United.

The Red Devils’ last chance to win a silver cup this season is the Champions League, which they haven’t won since 2008.
And the club have not won any trophies since 2017 – which is unappealing for Kane.
The Spurs star may prefer his chances of success by staying in North London and continuing the project Antonio Conte has started at the club.
