The Manchester United legend has only been in charge for one season.

The club said in a statement: “Head coach Ruud van Nistelrooiy announced this morning that he is leaving PSV.”
“PSV regrets his decision and is grateful to him for winning the Johan Cruijff Shield and TOTO KNVB Cup and hopes to finish the season in second place.”
