Man Utd legend Park Ji-sung gets top job as transfer boss for K-League champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors

MANCHESTER UNITED legend Park Ji-Sung has taken his career in a new direction – by becoming Technical Director at Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
The South Korean midfielder spent seven seasons at Old Trafford.

During that period, the fan favorites helped United win the Champions League and four Premier League titles.
Park made 205 appearances for United and scored 27 goals for the club.
He then moved to Queens Park Rangers for two years, in between he was on loan at PSV before hanging up his boots in 2014.
The 41-year-old international with 100 caps has recently worked as a QPR youth coach.
And he has also acted as an advisor to Jeonbuk in his homeland.
Now the K-League champions have tasked Park with overseeing transfers and overseeing the youth department.
Park said: “My responsibilities have increased.
“I want to change the club.

“I want to bring European culture to Korean football.
“I want the players to be more professional.
“As I live in Europe it’s easy when I have to sign a player in Europe.”
Jeonbuk from Jeonju said in a statement, “With this transition, Park’s management capacity will be greatly expanded.”
