MANCHESTER UNITED has put together a shortlist of four in search of a long-term manager, reports show.
That’s according to The Athletic, who report that Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauricio Pochettino, Ajax’s Erik ten Hag, Spain’s Luis Enrique and Sevilla’s Julen Lopetegui are top contenders.
United sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in November following a poor start to the campaign, despite a busy summer transfer window that saw Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and club legend Cristiano Ronaldo move to Old Trafford.

Ten Hag has been superb at Ajax as he has won two Eredivisie titles and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League for the 2018-2019 season.
Enrique led Spain to Euro 2020 as well as the 2022 World Cup and won the treble with Barcelona in 2015.
Lopetegui has impressed at Sevilla when the Andalusian is currently second in La Liga and has also managed Porto, Spain as well as Real Madrid in the past.
United chose one The last breathless victory over West Ham on Saturday and are currently fourth in the Premier League.
