Man Utd fans are furious that Avram Glazer has ‘no shame’ after charging the club £500,000 to fly to Wembley despite being over £500m in debt

MANCHESTER UNITED fans are furious after it was revealed owner Avram Glazer has charged the club £500,000 worth of flights for two trips to England.
The 62-year-old Glazer, who lives in Florida, traveled to London in February to attend the Red Devils’ Carabao Cup Final victory over Newcastle.
He then returned to England earlier in the month to take part in the women’s FA Cup final, which they lost 1-0 to Chelsea.
Accordingly the athletethose two visits – which Glazer conducted using private jets – cost the club £250,000 each.
It is understood that security and accommodation charges apply in addition to flights.
The report also said Glazer’s visit to last year’s World Cup in Qatar, which he was traveling to with his family, was also booked as a business expense.
It is said to have cost the club even more than his trips to England.
And that despite Man Utd’s debts standing at around £250m and the Glazer family continuing to collect dividends.
And fans are furious after finding out the club paid for Glazer’s extortion flights.

A third replied: “Scandalous. Use the club debt again.”
And a fourth replied: “Not a shame at all.”
Glazer watched the women’s FA Cup final with his daughter Libby.
