Man Utd ‘close to agreeing a new deal’ for prodigy Alejandro Garnacho to keep him at the club until 2028

MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly close to agreeing a new deal for Alejandro Garnacho.
The youngster has broken into the first-team this season and picked up an assist in the win against Manchester City.

Reports surfaced last month that United were planning to tie Garnacho to a long-term deal.
And now Spanish publication AS claim that the Red Devils are close to announcing the new contract.
Garnacho, 18, has reportedly penned a five and a half year contract.
All that remains is an agreement on the image rights of the youngster.
The winger is believed to have agreed a wage of £30,000-a-week – down from £7,000-a-week.
It’s good news for United as Garnacho has reportedly turned down his initial offer.
That piqued the interest of Juventus and Real Madrid.
Atletico Madrid have also been keen on snapping up Garnacho but his future appears to lie at Old Trafford.

Garnacho has scored two goals and four assists in 20 games for United this season and has impressed manager Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag said of the prodigy: “He has a skill I don’t see in many players in the Premier League – he beats players one on one.
“But he’s learned over the last few months how to play in a team, how to live, how to do the right things in the week, how to have the right attitude on the training ground and you can see him acting as a team player and can make the difference with his individual skills.”
