It’s been a difficult time for Chelsea off the pitch and now they’re feeling the pressure on the pitch too.
A humiliating home win over Brentford was a major red flag for Thomas Tuchel and his players.
They must now be on high alert to ensure they are not caught by the top four pursuers behind.
A loss to Arsenal at Stamford Bridge later this month could prove devastating – with a trip to Old Trafford still to come.

The Gunners are in the driver’s seat ahead of their north London rivals Tottenham, who are currently fourth, enjoying great form and with at least one game in hand ahead of the other clubs.
Mikel Arteta’s side continued their fine form with a win over Aston Villa before the international break and travel to Crystal Palace on Monday night.
If they continue their run – led by their brilliant young stars Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard – they could even take Chelsea to third place.
The Gunners have a tricky run-in but still play against all teams around them, despite only Manchester United visiting the Emirates and having no European distractions.
Despite this, Arsenal have their destiny firmly in hand.

After a volatile spell, Tottenham’s 5-1 win over Newcastle was their third straight Premier League win.
If Spurs make the effort to show up, they can beat every team in the division and they still have arguably the best forward in Europe in Harry Kane.
On the other hand, they are equally capable of losing to any team in the division.
Tottenham are yet to face Arsenal and Liverpool but apart from that their clash is quite favorable.
When they finally find some ore consistency, they will be more than capable of beating the others to earn a Champions League spot.
WEST HAM
Actual position: 6
games played: 31
Points: 51
Remaining fixtures: Brentford (a), Burnley (h), Chelsea (a), Arsenal (h), Norwich (a), Man City (h), Brighton (a)

West Ham face a difficult task if they are to finish in the top four.
They are currently just three points away from a Champions League spot but have played more games than any of their rivals – including three more than Arsenal.
A win against Everton will keep those small hopes alive, but West Ham also have more games ahead of them because of the Europa League.
And while fans and club look forward to the trip to Lyon and dream of more European adventures, the extra games in the race for fourth place do them no favours.
MANUTD
Actual position: 7
games played: 30
Points: 51
Remaining fixtures: Everton (a), Norwich (a), Liverpool (a), Arsenal (a), Brentford (h), Brighton (a), Chelsea (h), Crystal Palace (a)

Where to start at Manchester United?
Another strong performance at home against Leicester saw them drop two more points in the race and finish in the top four.
Their Champions League hopes appear to be fading and their encounter is arguably the toughest of them all.
Trips to Liverpool and Arsenal and a home game against Chelsea.
They may already be out of the race.
