INSPIRATION, Man Utd caretaker Ralf Rangnick is said to be able to install a ‘countdown timer’ at Carrington to force players to practice their ‘Gegenpressing’.
And it is believed that one way to get the players to understand his profound philosophy is to install a special countdown timer at United’s training ground.
Rangnick is credited as godfather of ‘Gegenpress’, a tactic used by many, including Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
It shows players counter-attacking in the upper half of the pitch to try to win the ball back.
And Rangnick will expect his newly inherited United squad to have the habit of winning the ball MINIMUM seconds after losing it.
Once the ball is back in possession, the player has only TEN seconds to get into scoring position before firing on target.
Rangnick looks set to be appointed this weekend before taking charge of his first game against Arsenal next week.

And he opened up his style of play by comparing it to PREGNANCY.
Rangnick previously told the Coach: “You need to know the kind of football you really want to play.
“A little pressing? Is there a little bit of pressure?”
“Having a bit of pressure is like having a baby. Are you pregnant or not?”
“Either you want to play pressed or not?”
