Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag briefs Anthony Martial on transfer with striker still on the sidelines injured

ERIK TEN HAG has released an update on Anthony Martial’s future.
The 27-year-old forward has had a string of injury woes this season and has just returned from his most recent setback.

France international Martial has been in training for over a week but is still not risked in the squad for tonight’s FA Cup quarter-finals against Fulham.
The ex-Monaco ace was last in action when he was substituted at half-time in the Manchester Derby win over City in January.
And he’s already missed a whopping 30 games this season due to hip, back, hamstring and hamstring injuries.
Martial last played a full game for United 18 months ago but has still managed to score six goals and provide two assists in his limited appearances this season.
His contract expires at the end of next season – but his manager has insisted the ace is NOT playing for his future just yet.
Ten Hag said: “I don’t think it’s the right moment to be the case.
“I believe in him, every time he’s available he really contributes to the team performance, the level of the team goes up when he’s available.
“We’re working with him to get fit and available.”

He added: “Everyone is different – you have to treat everyone differently.
“You have to be careful with this process. I do everything with a strategy behind it to make it available.”
