Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag arrives at 8am for the first day of pre-season training as he begins a new regime with an early start

ERIK TEN HAG has officially taken up his job as Manchester United manager as his new players reported for pre-season training today.
The Dutchman, who has arrived from Ajax, was spotted entering the club’s Carrington HQ this morning.

The 52-year-old was driven to the training ground ahead of his new squad’s return.
He was pictured in the back seat of a motor around 8am as he made sure to leave early.
And he was closely followed by his trainer Steve McClaren, who was back in familiar surroundings 21 years after leaving his role as Sir Alex Ferguson’s No 2.
Some of the club’s international stars will not be present under the new boss on Monday.
Much of the United squad is still on holiday, enjoying an extended break following their recent Nations League stint.
