Man Utd and Newcastle fans expect big changes in Carabao Cup final by stepping down after 35 years at Wembley

MANCHESTER UNITED and Newcastle fans can cheer on their boys at STOOD UP after it was announced Standing are returning to Wembley.
The first national final of the season, the Carabao Cup Finals, will take place on February 26th.

And it will be Newcastle taking on Manchester United in the delicious showcase at Wembley.
The Magpies stormed into the final after beating Southampton 3-1 on aggregate.

While United progressed to the final after beating Nottingham Forest 5-0 on aggregate.
Both clubs have already announced ticket details for the final – but this will see a big change after successful standing attempts in both the Premier League and EFL.
A statement from the EFL read: “The Carabao Cup final between Manchester United and Newcastle United on Sunday 26 February (kick-off at 4.30pm) will be the first major English men’s domestic final in almost 35 years, too which some fans are allowed to stand.
“Both clubs will receive an allocation of 867 seats, which will be available in new standing room at Wembley Stadium, located behind each goal in both the east and west stands to accommodate both groups of fans on the day.
“EFL and Premier League clubs have been allowed to introduce licensed standing in seats since the start of the 2022/23 season, with Cardiff City, Queens Park Rangers, Chelsea and Manchester City all offering standing for home and away fans.

“In these areas, fans are allowed to stand behind a barrier or railing that prevents them from falling forward for games in assigned rooms.
“In all other areas of the stadium, fans must remain seated.
“Tickets to this area will be sold by clubs in accordance with the Wembley Stadium ticketing policy.”
