An AN ink lover was mocked for having a Gaelic tattoo that turned out to have a very different meaning than he thought.
The tattoo unfortunately shows a Celtic cross with the words “An bhfuil cead agam dul go dti an leithreas.”
The rug’s owners claim that the phrase means ‘You will forever be in my heart’ as they say in the caption ‘My new unfinished artwork it says in gaelic ‘you will be forever. forever in my heart.'”
But one Redditor spotted a photo of a failed ink refill and explained it really means “can I go to the bathroom.”
He shared a photo of the hilarious mistake on social media with the caption: “Things are really horrible. First the tattoo *** and second the text that literally means ‘I have’ can go to the toilet”.
“That’s what children would ask their teachers in Irish schools.”
The post amused users with the toilet mistake with one of them saying: “I speak about 12 Irish words, and even I know what that means. Can’t be real. (be real). ”
Another added: “Imagine tattooing words without googling them out. And maybe you know, a dictionary? ”
One joked: “Who doesn’t have an unspoken bond with their throne room?, in a chaotic world we all need a place to rest and contemplate the events of the day. “.
Meanwhile, one woman shared that she was embarrassed after a tattoo artist misspelled her name in tribute to her favorite artist.
Another ink lover said he love his lightning tat until people thought it was a supreme SS symbol.
A woman who wanted to tattoo a sleeping cat was left with pathetic inkesembled more of a dead rat.
