PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman on a riverside walk along Allegheny last year.

A grand jury found Robert Flynn guilty of indecent assault, indecent assault, unlawful restraint and stalking.

One woman told police she was on the Allegheny Wharf Pier between Point State Park and the Roberto Clemente Bridge when Flynn grabbed her from behind, pulled her pants down, pushed her to the ground, and lay on top of her. aunt.

According to court papers, she kicked and screamed as Flynn held her down, and he eventually got up and ran away. She told police that she believed Flynn would rape her.

Sentencing is set for March 15.
