Man dies in house fire in Washington County – CBS Pittsburgh

CARROLL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) – A 93-year-old man is presumed dead following a fire at his home in Washington County on Thursday morning.
John Yevcinez was found dead just after 5 a.m. in the Van Voorhis Lane home in Carroll Township. He lives there alone, said the director of Valley Inn VFD.
A person driving past the house noticed the fire and called for help.

Firefighters, police and EMS crews rushed to the scene, but the house was also heavily damaged.
The fire is being investigated by Carroll Township Police and the Pennsylvania State Fire Police.
