The incident prompted City to file a formal complaint in Sky’s way – insisting that Keane was ‘off the line’.
So it came as a surprise when, on a recent Overlap live show, Keane picked Walker on his team.
The 50-year-old has been banned from choosing his former team-mate – with sky friend Gary Neville choosing Cesar Azpilicueta.
According to The Athletic, Keane’s decision to choose Walker was met with ‘considerable surprise’ by those in the Man City team.
The 31-year-old certainly has trophies to back it up, however, having won three Prem titles.
Walker is one of two Man City players selected by Keane – the other is Vincent Kompany.
