Man City ‘offered TWO big-name PSG stars in sensational swap offer for Bernardo Silva’

The Cityzens are still celebrating after winning a historic treble and enjoying a trophy parade last night.

After being crowned Premier League champions last month, they secured the double nine days ago by beating Man United in the FA Cup final.

And a legendary season was capped off in splendid fashion as Rodri’s goal secured a 1-0 win over Inter Milan in Saturday’s Champions League final.

Despite that success, Pep Guardiola’s side could lose a number of talents this summer as captain Ilkay Gundogan’s future remains in doubt.

Then yesterday we reported on how PSG made fellow midfielder Silva a top transfer target.

The 28-year-old Portugal international, who played against Inter, has been a key member of Guardiola’s team this season and even Jack Grealish has publicly asked him to stay.

However, he has been linked with an exit before as Barcelona continue to rise – but it seems PSG are his most likely target.

Now foot Mercato has claimed that the Ligue 1 champions have already tried to persuade City to do business.

They indicate PSG sports advisors Luis Campos offered City the opportunity to sign 24-year-old Italy international goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and his 30-year-old compatriot Marco Verratti.

Donnarumma joined PSG from AC Milan on a free transfer in 2021 and has made 69 appearances in all competitions.

Verratti spent 11 years in the French capital and has already achieved legendary status at the club, making over 400 appearances for the club.

He was reportedly the most attractive option of the two for City manager Guardiola – especially with Gundogan’s future in doubt.

However, the report states that City were quick to reject PSG’s proposal and they still insist they want to keep Silva.
