MANCHESTER CITY reportedly have the money to sign Kylian Mbappe and set him up with Erling Haaland.
French superstar Mbappe is said to be considering stepping down from his contract with Paris Saint-Germain in January.
That would make him a free agent, although signing fees and wages would still make a move costly for Mbappe.
However, according to Marca, there are ‘no financial limits’ preventing City from making a sensational offer.
The Premier League champions are owned by the well-funded City Football Group, which has invested heavily in the club since acquiring it in 2008.
And it’s believed there’s no financial reason why they can’t switch for Mbappe when he becomes available.
Any possible nosedive would see the 23-year-old partner of the current striker sensation Haaland.
Mbappe is believed to be unhappy playing alone as a striker, but any move to the Etihad would see him link up with goal-scoring machine Haaland at the front of the pitch.
The pair are widely regarded as the two best future players in the world when Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo retire.
But unlike Messi and Ronaldo, they could end up playing in the same team.

Haaland has 20 goals in 13 games for City and Mbappe’s record of 183 goals in 230 games for PSG suggests he would be just as productive.
However, whether City will opt for a deal if Mbappe terminates his contract in Paris remains to be seen.
Real Madrid were thought to be Mbappe’s most likely landing spot until he signed a new three-year deal in May.
Then reports in the week claimed Liverpool were the front runners for his signature.
There is believed to be a split in the PSG camp with Mbappe having just four allies left in the whole squad.
He is desperate for a way out of the club just months after signing a record-breaking £650,000-a-week deal.
