MANCHESTER CITY and England defender John Stones has been spotted holidaying with friends in sunny Formentera.
The Stones, 28, enjoyed another successful season with Man City under Pep Guardiola as City won another Premier League title and once again passed Liverpool by just a point.
The centre-back then linked up with Gareth Southgate and the rest of the England squad but had a far less productive stint during the Three Lions’ UEFA Nations League games.
England failed to win a game, with their worst form under Gareth Southgate coming to a head with a 4-0 win over Hungary – a game that also saw Stones sent off.
Then Stones jet off to enjoy the summer sun.
His resort of choice, Formentera, is the smallest in Spain’s collection of islands known as the Balearic Islands.
This collection includes the popular holiday destination of Mallorca, which plays host to Ibiza.
Stones isn’t the only Manchester City footballer enjoying the summer sunshine abroad.
England international Jack Grealish has also been spotted abroad, although the playmaker opted for a trip to Las Vegas instead.
They were joined by Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, who was pictured sunbathing with his family on a yacht in Mallorca.

Man United’s Fred also shared photos of him and his wife on holiday in Brazil, the midfielder’s home country.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte also got in on the action as he was pictured on a paddle board, while Spurs confirmed Yves Bissouma as their third signing of the summer.
