Man City ‘AGREE to £100m transfer with Erling Haaland’ as strike sensation chooses Etihad ahead of Real Madrid and Barcelona

Fears BORUSSIA DORTMUND Erling Haaland will go to Manchester City this summer.
The German giants had hoped to convince the Norwegian to stay with them for another season.

However, the 21-year-old has a release clause in his contract that takes effect this summer.
And Haaland is poised to capitalize on that and move in the season ahead – with Man City, Real Madrid and Barcelona all registering interest.
Sunsport reported on Wednesday that the young forward is hatching the idea of following in his father’s footsteps and joining City.
Alf Inge played for the club from 2000 to 2003 and – along with agent Mino Raiola – is playing a key role in his son’s future.

And reports in the Daily Mail now suggest Haaland has agreed personal terms with Pep Guardiola’s side in a deal that could be worth up to £100m.
Haaland has a £64m release clause in his Dortmund contract – a tough spot for such a talent – but his agent Mino Raiola is also set to make a substantial sum.
Those fees, along with the sign-in bonuses, will likely bring the total to nine figures.
Former Haaland Sr team-mate Shaun Goater – who is now back at the Etihad – hinted earlier this year that a deal with Erling was ‘very close’.

Dortmund were looking for huge sums last summer – meaning City turned their attention to England captain Harry Kane.
Their failure to strike that deal has left City playing for most of the season without a recognized striker, a misguided No 9 deployment that has yet to replace Sergio Aguero.
Haaland’s release clause and his age make him a much more realistic target at this point and the champions have worked hard to ensure they are ready to attack at the end of the season.
Dortmund want a quick answer from the former Red Bull Salzburg striker so they know where they stand – but signs suggest they won’t get the answers they want.

Haaland has scored an incredible 80 goals in his 79 games for Dortmund since joining Red Bull Salzburg in 2020.
But he has been sidelined since early February with a muscle injury and is set to return to action.
