MANCHESTER CITY have claimed Liverpool fans threw coins at Pep Guardiola during the VAR controversy at Anfield.
Phil Foden thought he gave the visitors the lead in the second half when he fired home after Alisson spilled the ball under pressure from Erling Haaland.
But it was later disallowed when referee Anthony Taylor went to the monitor and ruled that Haaland had fouled Fabinho in the build-up.
Guardiola raged on the sidelines, City now claimed that Coins had been shot at their manager after the incident.
