Man catches record-breaking 51-pound muscle lung in West Virginia – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A record fish was caught in West Virginia over the weekend.
Lucas King of Burnsville caught a record muscle lung Saturday, the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources said in a news release. The record fish released was 55.0625 inches long and weighed 51 pounds. The previous record was almost 50 pounds and 54 inches long.
King fished from a public spot on the banks of the Little Kanawha River on the underwater portion of Burnsville Dam in Braxton County. He used a 6 inch slide lure to catch the musk.
