Man accused of threatening to kill his girlfriend, stabbed by soldiers – CBS Pittsburgh

PERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) – State police say they used a pen on a Fayette County man who allegedly threatened to “kill everyone” and assaulted soldiers with a knife in his hand. .
Considered a threat to society, Jason Carocci is in the Fayette County Jail denied binding. Investigators say he tried to get soldiers to shoot him. This latest situation is one that many service members say involves Carocci and threats of extreme violence.

For some, living near 8 First Street in Star Junction can be intimidating at times.
“There’s something going on there,” said a neighbor who did not want to be identified.
The latest incident came overnight when state police said the man living in the home, Jason Caroccic, 43, allegedly threatened to drink rat poison, kill his girlfriend and stab two state soldiers called to the house.
The neighbor said: “It was like one or two in the morning, I heard, ‘put down the knife, put down the knife”.

Carocci allegedly attacked two soldiers while holding a large knife in each hand. Court records show the soldiers used their duties to get Carocci to drop the knife and put him in jail.
“It’s a very serious thing, but often there are small disturbances to that sort of thing. I would say once or twice a week,” said the neighbor.
But there was one episode that caught the eye of a KDKA neighbor who spoke to the person who asked us not to show her face: “The baseball bat incident.”
In November 2020, state police said Carocci allegedly told his sons he would “get in their heads” with a baseball cap, attacking his eldest son who was trying to protect his younger brothers.
Carocci faces multiple felony counts, including aggravated assault.

His girlfriend was not injured in the latest incident but state police said he kicked a soldier and spat on the EMS first responder who was examining him after he was taken into custody. hold.
