A MAN has been arrested after a 14-year-old schoolboy was raped in public toilets just yards from Bournemouth Pier.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident after the teenager was attacked early Saturday morning.
Detectives investigating the incident at the iconic Dorset attraction last night announced they were questioning a 51-year-old local man.
Bournemouth CID Detective Chief Inspector Ross Graham said: “We are doing everything we can to support the victim in this case and his family will be kept fully informed.
“We are conducting a detailed investigation into this matter and our investigations are ongoing.”
