Major crash on US 95 road near Boulder City in Nevada leaves 9 people injured and at least 11 vehicles involved in the crash

A large pile on a Nevada highway left nine people hospitalized after a crash involving at least 11 vehicles.

Officials said the crash happened Monday morning on board US-95 just outside Boulder City.

Nevada State Highway officials said nine people were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Status police said the southbound lane has been closed at the solar farm and is being redirected through Kingman, Arizona.

US-95 is the main highway in the US connecting the states Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, California and Idaho South Mexico border.

The highway also connects the Western states with British Columbia Highway 95 at Canada.
