Magen Fieramusca admits the murder after strangling his girlfriend Heidi Broussard with a leash and stealing her child in a sick scheme

A Texas woman has pleaded guilty to strangling her childhood best friend and kidnapping her newborn baby.
Magen Fieramusca, 37, was sentenced to 55 years in prison for the brutal 2019 murder of Heidi Broussard, who was found strangled a week after she disappeared.

“It is difficult, if not impossible, to find justice or a solution to this appalling crime,” District Judge Alvarenga said.
“They destroyed a whole family.
“No matter what the verdict – no matter how long, no matter how hard – nothing can change that. Nothing can make this family whole again.”
The killer entered into a plea deal that avoided a murder charge.
Fieramusca had been friends with the victim for over 20 years.
The sick plan to steal the child began with her pretending to be pregnant alongside Broussard.
The mother and her three-week-old daughter went missing on December 12, 2019 after being abducted by Fieramusca, according to an affidavit.
Broussard’s body was discovered a week later in a black holdall.
Luckily, the little girl was rescued and reunited with her family.
