The NEW unveiled wax figures of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at Madame Tussauds are causing a stir online.
Madame Tussauds New York unveiled the wax sculptures on Tuesday with a launch time to line up with the inauguration celebration on January 20.
The wax museum in Times Square features sculptures for each USA president but this is the first time a vice president has been introduced, making the announcement a historic move for the museum.
“Not only is Kamala Harris making history as the first woman, first black person, and first Asian-American Vice President, but she is making history – her story – a Again,” Museum Written.

The detailed exhibit features the classic Resolute Table, a blue carpet with the Presidential Seal, and a gold curtain.
There are also framed family photos of Biden, a bust of Mexican-American civil rights activist and labor leader Cesar Chávez, and a Decade II ballpoint pen that Biden used used to sign his Inauguration Day manifesto.
Wax figures of grinning Biden and Harris have costumes that mimic what each person wears on the inauguration day.
Biden’s blue suit also includes the yellow and navy cufflinks of the Senate and lapel pins of the US flag, The Hill reported.
Meanwhile, Harris wears a bespoke outfit by Christopher John Rogers, the designer behind her Appearance of Inauguration Day, with a shorter version of her coat on display.
SOCIAL MEDICAL RESPONSE
While the inclusion of VP Harris was historic for the museum, many took the opportunity to hurl criticism at Democratic leaders.

In December 2021, the branch of Madame Tussauds in Berlin decided a character of Rhianna would be a great addition to their collection.
