Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks LIVE – Ahead of the 47th annual event, it’s raining in New York City – when and where to see it

MACY’S is holding its annual 4th of July fireworks tonight after a rainy day.

The department store company is hosting its 47th annual fireworks display on July 4th, featuring some big stars including Bebe Rexha and Brett Young.

The celebration comes after it rained all day in New York City.

The Nathan’s Hotdog Eating Contest was delayed by two hours this afternoon in Coney Island due to lightning.

The show will air live on NBC at 8 p.m.

  • Artists cannot be seen in person

    The performances are not open to the general public, nor are there tickets for the live broadcast.

    The music show is part of the NBC broadcast.

  • No tickets for face-to-face events

    The fireworks are a free public event and no tickets will be sold.

    Macy’s will provide over two miles of public viewing space.

    Public viewing entry points can be found along FDR Drive in Manhattan, in addition to other viewpoints in Queens and Brooklyn listed on the website Macy’s website.
