Chelsea have to sack Romelu Lukaku

According to talkSPORT’s Simon Jordan, Chelsea should get rid of striker Romelu Lukaku and send him back to Inter Milan in a taxi this summer.

The former Crystal Palace claimed getting a £20m loan fee for the forward would be a good deal, he argued

He told talkSPORT: “It’s interesting that they loan him out and charge a £20m loan fee because it means they can keep him on their balance sheet and still charge money for him.

“So if Chelsea can keep him on their balance sheet and loan him out and get £20m for him, they’re actually doing a cash transaction that makes financial sense.

“Then in 18 months or a year, Inter could find themselves in a better position and Chelsea could pull Lukaku out of their pockets for £70m or £80m and they will actually make money on a transaction.

“So from a football point of view, if Tuchel doesn’t want him, it’s clear that he has to go.

“He’s already made his position clear, he’s already signaled the way back for the Italian fans by telling them: ‘I’d like to come home one day’ – well then go, we’ll send you there, taxi!”
