Lukaku close to Inter Milan move, Lewandowski to Barca ‘close to completion’, Newcastle REVEAL Botman – latest transfer

Summary of the transfer

According to The Athletic, Chelsea are increasingly confident of signing Raphinha.

The Blues are believed to be preparing a £55m bid to sign the Leeds United winger.

But Chelsea are still hoping to agree a deal to sign Raheem Sterling to join the Brazilian star.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have reportedly made an approach for Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia.

The highly-rated left-back is expected to join from Feyenoord this summer, with several clubs linked with the Netherlands international.

French club Lyon had reportedly reached a verbal agreement to sign Malacia, who has made 136 appearances for Feyenoord at the age of 22.

But that move is now in doubt amid reports Manchester United are in the running to sign the defender.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims United signaled an interest in Malacia before Lyon could reach a full deal with Feyenoord.

In other transfer news, Newcastle have agreed a deal in principle for the signing of Lille centre-back Sven Botman.

Botman, who underwent a medical on Tyneside, has agreed a five-year deal, according to a statement from Newcastle.

The total fee for the defender is around £35million with Newcastle saying the ‘transfer formalities’ will be finalized this week.
