The Spaniard’s methods seem to be working well as his side beat Costa Rica 7-0 in the first group game.
To get in touch with the fans during the tournament, Enrique chatted on the streaming platform Twitch.
When it came to his players’ sex habits, the former Barcelona coach said: “It’s something I think is completely normal.
“I mean, if you’re going to an orgy the night before a game, it’s not ideal. But hey.”
Enrique, who is still in good shape himself at 52, even went so far as to open up about his own habits.
He added: “I think sex is important and as a player, whenever I could, I did what we had to do with my wife.”
His daughter Sira Martinez is in a relationship with striker Ferran Torres.
The former Manchester City ace scored twice against Costa Rica and dedicated his goals to Sira.
