Love Island’s Maya Jama stuns in black dress and thigh-high boots as she ‘eclipses romance for herself’

MAYA Jama has ruled out romance during her time on Love Island.

It comes after we revealed last week that she returned the $1million engagement ring that her ex-fiancé Ben Simmons gave her.

Her close friend Radio 1 DJ Rickie Haywood Williams, who hosted a Mastercard event to celebrate his 25 year headlining sponsorship of BRITs, said: “I know Maya, we used to work together on Radio 1 and I know full well it’s like that she’s on Love Island, she wants to keep everything about the show and make sure she doesn’t get caught.”

On Friday night, the TV presenter wore a white crop top and trousers as she arrived at Vogue editor Edward Enniful’s 50th birthday party at The Maine Mayfair in London.

Maya and 6ft 10 Australian-born Ben, 26, started dating in May 2021 before making it official two months later.

They were photographed kissing at the Wimbledon tennis championships in July.

But the long-distance relationship ended last August when Maya decided to focus on her career in the UK.

The couple went their separate ways in December.
