Love Island viewers shuddered as they called the aftersun interview the most embarrassing of all time

LOVE Island viewers were stunned tonight as Scott van-der-Sluis addressed Abi Moores as a boyfriend.
The pair then had an agonizing interview with Maya Jama that fans have dubbed as the most embarrassing of all time.
Scott and Abi were together at the mansion but failed to ignite a romance.
The footballer admitted it was forced, which visibly upset Abi.
He then went on to defend Catherine and urged viewers not to leave her nasty messages after she left him on the show for Elom.
Scott was disappointed when she brought Elom back from Casa Amor, and he couldn’t find a connection afterwards.
When asked by Maya Jama if they could rekindle things, Scott said, “Right now we’re getting along really well as friends, right now there’s nothing else.”
“I don’t know if there’s a date yet. I coped to some extent with the situation in the villa. You never say never, but right now I’m kind of done with it.”
Viewers at home rushed to comment on the interview, with one person writing, “This after sun interview with Scott and Abi is so embarrassing.”
A second said: “I’m really so sorry for Abi this looked so embarrassing for her I know she regrets entertaining Scott’s flirtation in the first place lol.”
While a third added: “This post-villa interview with Abbie and Scott is soooo awkward.”
On Love Island tonight, Mitchel Taylor and Ella Barnes have been dumped – just a day before the final.
It remains Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble, Jess Harding and Sammy Root, Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki, and Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas to fight for the crowning of Love Island 2023 winners and the £50,000 prize.
The love island 2023 Summer Final broadcast is in progress ITV2 And ITVX on July 31 at 9 p.m.
